A property investment and development company contacted us to help them dispose of ​this non-core asset known as Lively Lady. This vacant potential development site (subject ​to the necessary consents) measuring approximately 0.28 acres in extent is well situated ​in East Wittering next to the Co-op. The first time we went to auction at a guide price of ​£150,000 we realised that the market was not responding favourably for a competitive ​auction. As such, we re-loaded the property for a later auction date with an opening bid of ​£70,000 and a guide price of £80,000. This marketing campaign was a success and ​resulted in the property selling on the auction day for £80,000. The Vendor was happy the ​property sold and the buyer was equally happy with their new acquisition.
