About three months ago we were approached by this Vendor wanting to sell her three-bedroom flat in Putney. The sale included a 50% share of the freehold. At the time the Seller had little knowledge of the auction process so it was important for us to explain and manage the steps, one step at a time. The added pressure related to her fixed low interest rate mortgage which was soon to expire, especially considering the tenant had vacated and therefore not generating any income. This helped in the decision to accept a pre-auction bid which resulted in the successful sale of the property. This was a stressful time for the Vendor with a happy ending.
